Why did Hornet and Vade decide to transact?
With two European leading email security vendors joining forces, the market can benefit from the expanded product portfolios. The group forms the preeminent European cybersecurity provider for customers and partners who value data sovereignty and best-in-class cloud, compliance and digital communications security services.
Will there be any changes in Vade products? I was looking forward to some of Vade's new products on their H1 2024 roadmap. Will they still be launched?
The Vade products you know and love will still be available and supported. Products such as Vade for Google Workspace are still planned to release to the market in 2024. Additionally, you will benefit from tons of new features and new products thanks to the comprehensive and powerful portfolio from Hornetsecurity.
Are there any new solutions/features?
Yes, you will benefit from more email security solutions such as: email encryption, archiving, security awareness services, backup, and compliance services to bring your security management to the next level. These new services will be available to existing Vade customers in early April.
When can I start selling the new services?
You will be able to start selling the new services in early April 2024. We will also be providing additional training soon.
What about my current partnership with Vade? Will there be any immediate changes?
There are no changes to your current partnership with Vade. But, thanks to Vade becoming part of the Hornetsecurity Group, you will have more opportunities for your business to develop and grow. More benefits and more services, something to really look forward to.
What about my data privacy and hygiene? Will there be any changes?
Thanks to the enhanced product portfolio and the large customer base in France, we have set up a new data center in France. This allows us to provide all (new) services for customers in France from France. In addition, Hornetsecurity has an international network of data centers in the UK, US and Canada, among others, in order to be able to offer international customers the same high standard of data sovereignty.
What about the company structure? Who are my main contacts?
Your contact people haven’t changed and are still at your disposal. Current departments and employees will remain as they are and still be responsible for you. They will support you with the existing Vade products and introduce you to the new services gained through this exciting transaction.
