The latest investment in Germany marks the fourth location available worldwide, along with Japan, France, and the US.
Hem, October 21, 2020 — Vade, the global leader in predictive email defense, today announced that it has invested in Microsoft Azure Germany for its AI-based email security solution, Vade for Microsoft 365.
The addition of Microsoft Azure Germany comes as a result of ongoing concerns about data sovereignty. Together, GDPR and BDSG have placed limitations on German businesses and prevented many from using popular cloud services vendors whose data centers were housed outside Germany, including Microsoft.
“German managed services providers and their customers are deeply concerned not only about protecting their data but also meeting the increasingly high standards of data sovereignty laws,” said Georges Lotigier, CEO, Vade. “By adding a cloud services platform in Germany for Vade for Microsoft 365,” Lotigier said, “our partners have assurance that their clients’ email is being analyzed and log files stored in Germany, meeting all government data privacy regulations.”
With 1 billion protected mailboxes globally, Vade brought one of the world’s most intelligent email content filters to the global MSP and SMB markets in 2018 with Vade for Microsoft 365.
“Vade is investing heavily in the German market to support our partners and customers,” said Lotigier. “Data sovereignty is critically important to them, and they need a solution hosted locally to meet their needs. With the Vade for Microsoft 365 platform now hosted on Microsoft Azure Germany, our partners now have that peace of mind.”
Vade for Microsoft 365 is AI-based email security solution for Microsoft 365 that protects businesses against the attacks that native Microsoft security misses, including dynamic phishing, targeted spear phishing, and polymorphic malware attacks.
Vade for Microsoft 365 features an API-based infrastructure that makes it easy for MSPs to buy, bundle, deploy, and manage. Natively integrated with Microsoft 365 in a single, low-touch product, it is an MSP friendly solution for MSPs who are eager to provide added value and managed security services to their Microsoft 365 clients.
With the addition of Microsoft Azure Germany, partners now have the assurance that their clients’ Vade for Microsoft 365 email is safely analyzed and log files securely stored in Germany.
Vade helps MSPs, ISPs, and OEMs protect their users from advanced cyberthreats, such as phishing, spear phishing, malware, and ransomware. The company’s predictive email defense solutions leverage artificial intelligence, fed by data from 1 billion mailboxes, to block targeted threats and new attacks from the first wave. In addition, real-time threat detection capabilities enable SOCs to instantly identify new threats and orchestrate coordinated responses. Vade technology is available as a native, API-based offering for Microsoft 365 or as lightweight, extensible APIs for enterprise SOCs.
